New member here, thank y'all for having me. I recently purchased a 1969 Mach 1 with a 390. Not my first mustang, hopefully my last though.
Very nice!
SSig_welcome4  Very nice Mach1. Interesting Color, what do they call it. It looks like a sandstone color??? Is it a Factory color. Tell us more. Again Welcome lots of info, and good people here, enjoy.

Thank you. It's an original color, champagne, or in other words, gold. It does match the color code but it's not the original paint. I do plan on having it painted a different color one day just not anytime soon.
That's a nice color, I'd leave it.  That car will definitely loose value if you do a color change.  I'm grateful the guy who sprayed my 1969 Mach convinced me to leave it the original Meadowlark Yellow and single stage paint.  Not a base coat-clear coat paint because originally it was a single stage paint.
Veryhappy
Welcome to the club. Very nice looking Mach 1, I like the color.

If you ever want to make the side scoops functional in the future, just hit me up, I have a conversion kit I have installed in my Mach 1.

Good luck with the mustang.
