Hey All... I recently purchased a 1971 Mach1. I previously owned a 66 coupe and a 67 fastback. This car seems to be in good shape but I’m not sure whatever work was done to it was done properly. This is my “forever car” so hopefully I have lots of time to see what’s what. I look forward to picking your brains and learning from your experiences while I create my own.[attachment=13138][attachment=13139][attachment=13140][attachment=13141][attachment=13142][attachment=13143][attachment=13144]
Welcome to the club, there are some good 71-72 owners here. Share some photos when you can, we all like photos.
Looks Pretty good from this vantage point. If it's solid and not full of bondo, then the rest is a much easier fix as you can usually take one thing at a time.  SSig_welcome4 To the Club lots of good info and People here. jump in anytime we all love a good mystery. LOL.

Welcome to the site. Looks good. The chrome front bumper was not stock on the Mach 1's, but some folks prefer that look as compared to the original color matched "rubber" bumper. A good condition rubber bumper is hard to find too, so the chrome alternative is an easy fix if the original bumper is damaged.

Keep the updates and pictures coming.

Nice, I guess I'm biased because I just purchased a 71 on 11_6_20...same interior and exterior color, C6 auto, and 429 CJ but my steering wheel looks different.  I'm getting to know it but seems mostly original with a few aftermarket items (intake manifold and carb for sure, cruise air has been removed).  I do have a question now and will probably have more:  Did the 71 429 CJ come with a cooling fan clutch?  Rookie question maybe but the reason I ask is that I cannot spin the fan when the motor is off and I don't see anything that resembles a clutch on the assembly from water pump to fan.  Thanks.
