[attachment=13081]Hello everyone. Purchased this 1971 Mach 1, vin shows it is an M code engine, auto trans, power windows, gauge package, convience lamp package, appears to have been a deluxe interior car. 41k on the odometer. appears like the original exhaust at least the tips. Sad thing is its missing the door tag and theres no sign of a buck tag either.
SSig_welcome4  Pretty solid looking Mach1. Has someone done the bodywork already, or did you get lucky??? Anyway welcome to the club, nice to see another Mach1 saved from rusting into the ground. Great site, lots of info, and good people always willing to help, enjoy.

Thanks. A little of both its a solid survivor and already has had some work done. the previous owner(s) were prepping it for paint, door handles, locks, weatherstripping, fuel tank, side markers, front park lamps, inner door panels are missing Rear valance looks replaced, battery tray was replaced. still need to go over the car to see what else was done.
The exhaust tips are Ford parts with numbers and clamps on them, possible the exhaust is somewhat factory.

Always wanted one of these since around high school when got my license and I almost scored a 71 Mach 1 4spd but my Dad nixed that because it was too much car lol  Banghead . Looking back now though its likely I wouldnt have been able to keep that and now I can give one a good home.
Welcome from Virginia.  Keep the pics and updates coming!
