So this story starts in April of 1993. My dad Jim gets a call from a storage unit that they have a Mustang in unit 101 that the rent
has not been paid on, would he be interested? He gets there and sees a 69 Mustang nose sticking out and the rest of the car
is buried in boxes, etc. How much do they owe? $300, I will give you $200 and get it out of here today. Sold. So here he comes
with a 69 fastback on the trailer to the parts store where I am working while going to college. How much did you buy this rusty
turd for? $200. I will take it off your hands, I have always wanted a 69 fastback. No, I'm going to part it out and make some money.
I open the door but it's body 63C a Mach 1. Damn it give me your money but we will be doing this all original or we are not doing it.
Now somewhere is some pictures of before and during shots but I will have to post them later when I find them. Next few years is
spent replacing all floor, rear frame rails, inner trunk, and tail light panel. Then 2009 lose both parents from cancer within 2 months
of each other. 2010 I buy childhood home and start on a bare shell of a 69 Mustang. It's been a long haul but I am seeing the finish
line finally. You will notice in the first show picture no stripes on the car. I just brought it home with the stripes and rocker chrome
added. So with a few bugs to work out and some weather strips to put on I made it. THANKS DAD!!
