When Steven came out here recently he bought me some number plates, thanks Steven. One set was from Texas and it was to suit my cars DSO which was Dallas. I haven't had a chance to try them on until today.  Thumbup

Some turkey was trying to get in on the action while I was taking photos  Laughing

Very cool.  Will the Australian motor vehicle department allow you to keep that plate on the front of the car?
Dang if it Ain't a Turkey!!! The plates look pretty cool on there! Kudos to Steven. Class Man all the way.

No we have to have our plates front and back. They like to be able to catch us from both ends when we break the law Cool
Well look at that!

I wasn't aware that Steve O took my picture while I was there.  :)

The truth of the whole story is that Steve O is the one that really out did himself.  He gave me a set of plates from every state in Australia and even a set of New Zealand plates!

Now all I have to do is come up with the XB Falcon to put them on!  Steve O all ready gave me the two Hot Wheel replicas!

Thanks Steve O - I will have to plan in a longer stop in the area next trip!
Well nobody told me all that. Guess Steve O, is a pretty Cool Guy also. But i think we already knew that. Kudos to Steve O. Now about that Falcon XB. I'll Bet they're just a little hard to come by on this side of the planet???

Well you will have to keep them inside the car your car for conversation.   I believe all the U.S. states have the same law in regards to front and back plates.  My Mustang has the racing valance on the front which has no provision for mounting a plate.  I heard they sell a license plate mounting bracket for the racing valance but I am going to push the envelope on that. So far I have not been pulled over for my "front plate delete" set-up (knock on wood).
Sorry Mike but thats not actually true. Front plate law varies state to state. Illinois has front and rear plates, always have.  But in Arkansas where I live now we only have rear plates. Sorry to break the news. There are quite a few states without front plates. 19 to be exact. Alabama, Kentucky, Florida, Arizona, Georgia, Louisiana, Indiana etc.

Thanks for the replies guys. I thought some of the states over there allowed only rear plates.

Steven don't be so modest, you gave me a great pile of plates as well which are awesome. Finding the pair of Texas plates wouldn't have been easy for you. I know plenty of people I could call a turkey but you are definately not on the list  Laughing  If you ever make another trip over here and can stretch it out that would be great, we managed to get some quality time together but it just wasn't long enough.

No need to apologize JTS I just thought most State would require them by law.  CT has always issued 2 plates, probably because our prison system is overcrowded at least according to our Governor.
