Happy to be here...   because I finally am the owner of a '69 Mach1, 351C !!
I've has the car for about 4 months.  Based on the condition I expected it to be a little more "turn key" than it has been.   Car was restored about 7 years ago and has basically sat ever since.  So when I started driving it...   lots of leaks, busted fuel pump,  waaaay out of adjustment carb.   among other things.  Hopefully getting close to trusting it as a frequent driver.
The color in the center picture is more accurate. Underside looks as good as the top!
Wow nice looking 69. Lot's of good people on this site who are all very knowledgeable. Welcome!!
Welcome.

Very nice looking Mach 1!

Here's to miles of smiles.
Welcome to the site and your diligence to register!!  Thumbup
Welcome aboard! We are certainly happy you found us.  You have a very good looking 69 Mach 1 and I like the color choice and engine.  Sounds like you been itching for this car for some time.  The issues certainly can be from sitting for 7 years but could also be the previous owner did not do a great job setting the car up the first time around.  The busted fuel pump scares me.  However, It sounds like you are picking away at getting it right.  Like the others mentioned, lots of knowledgeable members here so jump right in.
Welcome Good to have you. As the others have said excellent Mach1 and they're never actually done , but here's to hoping you get some seat time in!

Thank you sir!  The fuel pump was a real surprise.  Was a brand new , fancy schmancy..  polished Summit Racing pump.  The receipt came with the car. Probably had 1K on it.  I took the top off and found one of the nickel sized diaphragms had popped out of its seat.   Also, the Summit carb had just been installed out of the box.   Never actually set up..   Car was getting 2mpg!!!
Welcome.  Nice car. Is that the original color?  I know Ford had a candy apple red and a darker burgundy for 1969 but I never know what each one looks like.  Those polished or chrome fuel pumps are usually problematic.  If it acts up again look at something from Carter or Edelbrock.

I have a friend with a 69 Mach 1 that also did the 351 Windsor to 351 Cleveland conversion.  I'm a bit of a purist and left mine with a 351 Windsor.

Hi..  Thanks!    The color...   ah yes...    I certainly is a great color. Always gets comments .    Unfortunately its not original....    and to a Mustang purist, probably sacrilegious. It was painted when the car was   restored in 2009...    with a current year color.   Its called Inferno Red Pearl Metallic.....    by Chrysler....         I know, not even a Ford color. What are ya gonna do.....    I'm not repainting it..    But it is gorgeous on the car!!
The fuel pump was a bit of a challenge. Carter and Edelbrock don't make a mechanical for the Cleveland. I found a few crazy expensive ones that are more racing parts. Ended up with a basic/stock one from the local parts store.
I was going to change the color on mine from the original Meadowlark Yellow to Grabber Blue.  In the long run, I'm happy the painter was a purist and convinced me to keep it Meadowlark Yellow.
