Mach 1 Club

My Mach has an intact (albeit ragged) OEM underhood pad. Has anyone else tried to restore or reconstruct this molded fiber pad? Ive got some ideas on how to proceed but wanted to ask. Thanks for your reply.

Hair spray (lacquer) will bond the fabric if it is 'fluffy'.    Out here there is a chain of shops 'Clarke Rubber' that sell several styles of sound mat.  Maybe Google them to see what the equivalent store in your area is.
