I have never posted anything as of yet so here goes...
I have a 1970 Mach 1 which is a custom build.
Very clean. No Mach 1 lower rocker panel moldings, No rear window levors, no rear wing, no mustang ID plates anywhere.

I wanted something different than everyone else Mach 1's

The only Mustang is the gas tank filler which is black and has a Mustang on it.

I had a TCI front and rear Coil over installed.

A 351W with Alumn heads and intake with a MSD EFI system.
JBA long tube headers with MagnaFlow stainless steel exhaust.

Trans is a 4R70W with a MSD controller and Lockar shifter.

Custom interior and seats.
Dash is a JME 69-70 Dash as is the passengers side with a small Mustang in the corner.

All new wiring

Electric windows and drivers seat.

Wheels & tires: HR99 18x8 with 245 45 18 Michelin's

The color is Pepper Grey with a light green base coat just to be different.

Cheers for now jeh1950
Here are some more photo's
Nothing would make a better gift than having the car completed by Christmas. And, from what I can see in your pictures, the car looks to have some nice upgrades done to it! I can't wait to see the finished product.

Thank you for sharing.
Welcome, pretty good start, to the finished product. The green base gives the color a little wow factor. I'll bet it looks great in the sunshine. JTS 71 Mach1

Agree with you on the wow factor. I am anxious to see a full picture of the car to really see the color on it.
Nice work! I am guessing you fabricated the subframe connectors. They look nice. For off the shelf headers, I've always liked JBA's. I have their mid length headers. How do their long tube headers fit on a 351W? And the JME instrument panel. About the best aftermarket instrument panel bezel available. Nice.

Regards,
Mike
Very nice - thanks for sharing!

I imagine that this has been a long road to completion and that you are getting excited to realize the completed project.

Judging from the information that you have shared and the photos we can see you will soon enjoy the tremendous return of your investment.

Keep us informed and updated!
Hey to Everyone
Looks like the car will be all mine end of Jan 2016.
Can't wait to start driving it.
I will have photo's once it is at my house.

I also entered the Fab Fords for Ever in April at Knotts Berry farm.
Last year I didn't make it..
This year I will make it for sure.

It will be been almost 2 years from the day I picked up the car.
AND a lot of money. I have had to replace just about everything and it is expensive....

There were parts that NO one makes anymore and I had to clean and repair the best I could.

In the end it will be a driver and we plan on enjoying it as much as we can which I hope is a lot...

Yea the JBA headers fit just fine with the TCI front end. JBA states the headers are make for the conversion. No issues like what we had with Hooker Headers (I tried 3 sets before I learned about JBA) All is good now

Cheers for now jeh1950
Thanks for the update on progress.

It sure sounds and looks like quite the investment. One you should really be able to enjoy.

I have always wanted to make the April show at Knots Berry Farm. Your car will be a great addition.

Hi Steven
Hope you can make it. If you have never been to Knotts its a lot of fun and cheaper than D'Land just different.

I kind of get the feeling you can park just about anywhere you want.
Last year the main parking lot seem to be the best for all the people viewing
we will see in a few months.

Cheers for Now jeh1950
