Howdy,
Just found this site from another forum and thought I would pop in after I
had a couple of email false starts.
I've got an early 70 Metuchen built Mach 1 that has been apart since 1992.

Welcome! Always good to hear from another '70 tragic. At least hers was all together. How much 'apart' is it?
Welcome to the club from Kansas. Our's set for maybe 15 years with the interior and trim in the basement. Had to wait till the kids were out of collage to finish the restoration. Enjoying it now.
I think most of our cars start out all apart. Then it's like a Japanese jigsaw puzzle, to put it back together. Lots of good info, and people here, we'll help all we can. Good Luck. Share some pics, as they can say a thousand words. JTS 71 Mach1

Mine's a 73 and it doesn't go back to 92 but it has spent all it's life with me in pieces.

As in all the way apart, not even the unibody is currently complete!
Nice Big Bimmer collection ya got there, that little one must feel lonely.

Thanks for the welcome, not sure if y'all can see in my signature there is a Cardomain link I made up a number of years ago that has a decent amount of pictures and maybe some of the story...

Thanks for the welcome. I guess that means you can see the link. In spite of the date being 2013 on the link, there isnt anything on there newer than 2007. The original pictures of the car that show the medium lime metallic paint and the maroon pain are from about 1988. The pictures of the front engine bay construction are from about 2004.
Currently the unibody has trunk floors, right quarter and right wheelhouse not attached.

I didn't actually see all the pictures the first time. Been there and done that. Are the plans to continue work on the car?
