Well I can't beat Joe but I got a couple of new car themed toys.

Racing car driving arcade cabinet with a PS2 running V8 Supercars Australia 3. Good fun and it doesn't matter when you crash Rolleyes and Getaway pinball machine.

Awesome I want one!! Especially if they work good!!
WOW!

I imagine that I could put some seat time into the racing arcade.

Where did you find those?
Very cool Thumbup Is that the pinball machine that plays La Grange by ZZ top?
There is nothing wrong with perpetually reliving the best years of our lives and this is a perfect example that us guys just never grow-up...as it should be. Very cool!! Are you a collector?
Neat stuff, I sure wish I could find a arcade style video game. The one that comes to mind was a Rally game that shook the seat and showed you in the drivers seat and the further sideways Gears you got the harder it would shake it was the most accurate feeling game I ever played. The scary thing was I won and passed the first 3 levels on the same 50 cents. It was that realistic, it felt like a real car! Thmbsup JTS 71 Mach1
Thanks for the replies friends

They work well and the good thing from what I have observed is they are cheaper on your side of the planet.

Hi Steven the racing game is great and I do spend hours in the seat. It is a great way to unwind. I bought the empty cabinet off a buy/sell site probably like craigslist it is called gumtree. All up only owes me $135 Biggrin I already had the PS2 . The cabinet cost 50, the lcd tv was 50 and the acrylic I used instead of the glass was 35. I can't say the same for the pinball it was expensive and bought it from somebody on the arcade forum I belong to.

JTS 71 Mach1 mine isn't that technologically advanced (I wish Smile ) but it does have force feedback on the steering wheel so the faster you go the heavier the steering gets and it vibrates when you go over bumps Th_go_smilie_its_yo_birthday

So you built it yourself. That's very cool. Outside of my current knowhow.

I surf Gumtree all the time - just because.
