[attachment=11218][attachment=11217][attachment=11216]Hello fellow Mach 1 Guru's,

I am from Chicago and have recently had the privilege of purchasing a 73 Mach that I have been looking for for a good 20 years. A little about the car that I am proud to call mine is it spent all it's life in SC exept for the last 2 years in Georgia. It has been restored to original condition appx 20 yrs ago.

SSig_welcome4 That's a great looking car for being restored 20 years ago. All I can tell you is you better not take it out in the winter, as I'm originally from Kankakee. And that car won't last 2 winters up there if you do. I lived up there for the first 25 years of my life and can remember mid 70's cars, about 5 years old, you could reach in the trunk and never lift the lid! Hope you got a nice garage. Again Welcome JTS 71 Mach1
Welcome Matt73,

That is a very nice example of a Mach 1.

Here's hoping that you can now enjoy many happy hours after having searched for so many years.

very nice
Hi Matt...welcome to the site! Thanks for sharing the pictures of your car, even an undercarriage shot, very impressive! I am glad to see your 20 year search ended with such a great looking car. It shows that patience pays off.
Welcome from Ohio
Very nice car - congrats
Don
Thanks Guys! I am sure I will enjoy it for many years, and yes there will be no winters for this girl! She saw where we were going on the way back to Chicago and she said hell no turn this thing around and take me back. I don't want to go there. LOL.
I understand completely. My first Mach1 was from Kankakee and was not a rust bucket, but it had a lot of areas that were in need of repair, I feel for you. Take good care of her she's a keeper. JTS 71 Mach1
Welcome! A summer cruise and winter garage queen car. I'm with you 100%.
Korean crap is for salted, winter roads, I thought.
