Hi everyone,

I'm Mathias and I've been a big mustang enthousiast for ages. Since last year I'm the proud owner of a 1970 Mustang Mach1. It needs a lot of work but I hope to learn some tips and tricks on this forum which can help me with the restauration.

Greetings from Belgium,
Mathias
Welcome to the site Mathias and congratulations on your 70 Mach 1! You came to the right place for tips and tricks. There are a bunch of great people here with a wide variety of experience to help you out.

Mathias, welcome. You will find a wealth of info here. I get a kick out of seeing where the classic Mustangs pop up. Belgium. That is terrific. With all of the great European cars that have been built over the years and the Mustang is popular all over the world. Good luck with your '70. Dave R.
Welcome! I'm ex UK and now in Perth WA - working on my daughter's '70. What engine is in yours?
I heard that the I6 was far more common than the V8 for Euro export cars. Is yours a 'grey import' or main line dealer?
Welcome Mathias, good to hear from Belgium, a lot of info, experience and help here we can find.
Please post pictures of your Mach 1.

Cheers.

Mathias, Welcome to the Club. As a relatively new member I think you'll enjoy the advice, articles and photos that the site has to offer. Love to see a photo of your Mustang and to hear what options (auto or stick - 2 or 4 bbl) it came with.

Have fun with your car,
Bill
