Any articles or how to on skimming a hood. Need to get rid of a little surface Rust but hear the hood can be tricky
Personally I have never seen hood skins but then again I am far from knowing everything about these cars and what's out there for parts. Hopefully Don from Ohio Mustang can better answer your question.

If there are hood skins out there I assume it is very similar to installing door skins. Here is a link I found to give you an idea what's involved:

I believe that Hoss wants to use one of his seven hoods as a skin and another of his seven as a frame. In the meantime he will be able to paint all the unprotected inner metal.

I see...I like Hoss' style already!
Yeah I want to use one of my locking NASA hoods but the one that has the best underside and allotted airflow has a little top damage. And they all need the inside cleaned to many rust flecks bouncing around. Trying to do what I can in my small garage until weather gets nicer to do body work
