These things were impossible to find for a while. Now if I could just remember where I saw them for sale recently. They were about $60 which is still a rip off. I rebuilt my original ones by buying a similar part and taking them apart.

Every place I checked had ran out of the old Scott Drake ones and Peorgie would rebuild original ones for some insane price. Has anyone found them?[attachment=781]
Ya Im going to be hunting them myself soon. Would like to make my Nasa Hood functional again. The previous owner of my Mach 1 sold the whole kit because he said it made the hood heavy and because he didnt race it, at lest thats what I was told when buying the car in August. NPD makes most of the kit.
The problem I have found is NPD and everyone else sells the whole plenum assembly and not the vacuum motors separately. I have the original factory ram - the seals in the motors were dried out. Anyway - I ordered Niehoff motors parts #FE714 from O'Reilly autoparts and took them apart and used the seals to replace my originals that I carefully pried apart.

Also @ Rock Auto AIRTEX Part # 6V1025 looks like a good substitute if they have them in stock or can get them for a whopping $6.95 each.
Thanks for the heads up! One of the great things about this site is I dont feel so all alone anymore, and actually have people that answer questions. Before I started this site I would post questions on other Mustang message boards and no one would reply.

Amen. I just found this site a couple of days ago and I'm already miles ahead of the other 2 forums I joined a few months ago. I'm going to stay here. There seem to be a lot fewer of us but that look like it works in our favor.

I appreciate you doing this.

Hey guys,
Found what you're looking for. Read your thread just saw them the other day. NPD (National Parts Depot) I've ordered alot of stuff very nice. Google NPD load the online catalog. On page 120 top right is the part you seek. Ram air accuator part # 9D612-5A Right side and part # 9D612-5B left side. $42.00 each. Hope that helps guys.
I bet if you call NPD they do not actually have them. Believe me I have tried and called everywhere and I'm not paying an outrageous price for a $10 part.
See my post about O'Reilly autoparts.
My car is an original ram air car but a previous owner had taken the flappers and vacuum motors off of the valve assemblys to make it full time ram air. Some peoples kids I tell you what!SSig_ohwell
