[attachment=10609]Hi I'm new here. I own a 1972 Mach1 it's dark green Metalic and argent silver. It has a Q code 351 CJ. a 4speed trans magnum 500 wheels and Black sports interior. I've owned it for 30 years as of last august and plan a restoration (again) as a retirement project.
Good place to be as there is a lot of knowledge and info on the site. And lots of good people. Welcome JTS 71 Mach1
Welcome Sir (Mr Mach 1), Biggrin

Glad to have you here with us.

Anyone that has owned such a nice car for thirty years rightly deserves to be called MrMach1.

I will be looking forward to your input in the site.
Hi and welcome. The only car I know with one owner for so long in my dad's Morris Minor woodie (1959). Now my mum's. Congrats on such a history.

Heck He's not even in the same woods anymore!! 578254 Get it??? Woods ---Woodie!!!

Oh well I tried. JTS 71 Mach1
Always thought the Morris lacked something - I remember performance!!
Not that it would go round corners either so I supose lacking in both (performance and handling) made it a balanced vehicle.
Ultra reliable though. Only ever stopped twice (fuel pump).
Welcome Mr. Mach 1! Glad you found us and it looks like you have jumped right in. It is definitely a rarity to hold onto a car for 30 years. You must have great foresight. My parents own a 69 Camaro Pace Car that has been sitting in their garage (not barn) for 35 plus years. I am so into Mustangs that I never even ask what their plans are for the car. It's kind of weird but I have absolutely no interest in it. Any who...welcome!

I have no problem understanding your lack of camero interest. I'm a total mustang guy too.
