Hi
Just bought 1971 Mach 1 yesterday and had to pinch myself this AM to make sure it wasn't a dream! Lots of work ahead but oh so fun!!
Congratulations on the purchase.

Welcome.

Is this your first Mach 1? Your first muscle car era car?

Have you had an eye for a Mach 1 for some time?

I will look forward to the pictures of your purchase and the journey ahead.

Enjoy the site.

Yes this is my very own 1st Mach 1. My husband is a Chevy guy so no Fords at our house until now. I've always loved the Mach 1 but didn't know to much about them, I am learning now! We purchased her from an older lady who had her stuffed in an old garage here in GA. She is all original even got the 351 4bb motor she came with new and 76k miles. When I first started looking my husband said let's try to find one with 05&M in vin and she was the first one I looked at and had it all! I will post pics when we get her home on Sunday. Thanks Mistie
Hi Mistie,

Welcome to the site!! I am happy to hear you successfully persuaded your husband that you wanted to buy a Ford. I know Chevy guys can be stubborn when it comes to Fords! Most likely it's an insecurity thing 578254!

I look forward to seeing pictures of your 71 Mach 1. It sounds like you are the second person recently to purchase a Mach 1 that has been "stuffed away" for some time.

Welcome! I'm new here too.
Do you wrench yourself, or leave it to the Chev Man?
Yes, new to you cars that have been hibernating are exciting to get going on. Lets see a pic or two!
Welcome to the club. You will find lots of information here and there are several 71-73 owners here that can answer questions.

Evidently there is a little bit of Ford hiding in there somewhere.

Well done. Cleveland 4V power will help open his eyes.
Welcome from Ohio

So Mistie - the Mach 1 must have been a birthday gift!

Happy Birthday.
