Hello, die hard Ford dude here looking to share info on the sleekest cars ever made!!!
Welcome from another newbee
Welcome.

There are a few die-hard Ford dudes here so you should fit in well!

How long have you owned that sleek machine?
Welcome from another die-hard Ford fan...glad you found us!!
Thanks for the welcomes guys! I've only been a mach owner for about two months now. Also have a '82 5.0 GT t-top Black on Black, and a '11 5.0 GT Premium with a few mods, its Kona Blue. Got rid of a '64 Galaxie 500 XL 2dr hardtop earlier this year to make way for the mach.
Have had a part restoring a quite a few fords over the years with my stepfather such as his '66 fastback, '69 mach, '55 & '56 Fairlane victoria's, '51 F-1, '64 Falcon 2dr hardtop, 2 '67 Fairlane 2 dr hardtop's, and a '46 Merc currently underway. I have some catching up to do to keep up to him and this Grabber Blue '70 seemed like a real good addition to the stable. It will also be a bit of a project as it is all original and unmolested,,,been sitting for 37 years, just got it running and driving. Trying to decide on what route to take and will pick up this topic in the opinion section....
Wow! That is some serious "part" to take part in.

That would have to be a good relationship to have with a stepfather.

Sitting since 1977 - what a find. Seems to me that such a find would jump you ahead a pretty good piece in the catching up game.

Opinions - yes we all seem to have those. Biggrin
Sounds like you have taken part in quite a few projects which should make you no stranger to tackling your Mach. Unmolested cars are the best since you don't have to deal with other people's work.

I apologize if I missed it in your post but what are you up against with restoring this car? Please share some pictures. It is not too often you see them off duty for so many years.
Yes, super fun and very gratifying working with the old man on all these hobby projects, that's why we want to keep doing them. Sure have learned a lot over the years about cool FORD cars and trucks.
I am going to start another thread in the opinions on this '70 topic.....
