Had a good day's driving last Saturday. Put over 300 miles on the car. This is too much fun - household chores are gonna have to wait until ... when... winter? I was tempted to add music to the video, but I like listening to the engine too much.

Great video.

You are right - no other music needed!

Yep - house chores can wait.
The car does sound great...did you mount a camera somewhere to get that side shot from behind? That is very cool and thanks for the ride!
Thankyou.

p.s. If you like you can come over here and take out some bicyclists as they are real pests on the road Dodgy
Enjoyed the ride! What did you use to mount the camera?

There's a lot of different mounting options for the GoPro camera. I bought the industrial strength suction cup mount. They use it on the wings of airplanes, so I figured it would hold on to the car ok - it does.

The camera was mounted on the rear corner of the car - I'm not sure what you call that part - it's the left side of the up-turned part just beneath the spoiler. The camera has software settings that allow you to switch between wide-angle, normal and narrow fields of view - all from your phone. While I was driving, I could see what the camera was recording on the screen of my phone - it's a really slick system.

Here's a picture of the suction cup mount, with the camera stuck to my TV as i write this:

Or you can come down to Oz and drive around the Tasmanian countryside like my Dad and myself in this clip in our '73 Mach 1 ...

Awesome video Peter...and boy does that looks like a ton fun!! Obviously your car is set up for the track.
I agree with Peter - give it a go!

Somehow my Nissan rental didn't quite give me the same experience in Tasmania.

Step(dream) one: Go watch Peter and Ian race,

Step(dream) two: Give it a go myself.

That's a great video! Any more? Your car sounds great.

Edit... Ah, I found your other videos. Livin' the dream, eh? Those are really entertaining. Glad you two survived the roll over and are posting videos. Are you back racing again yet?
