Hi, my name is Matthew and I'm new to the Mach 1 club. I do not own a Mach 1 yet, but I am in the market and I'm going to look at a few in a week or so. I'm only 15 now, I plan on finding a running project car to work on until i can fully drive it!(as I only have a permit now.)I am currently watching a 1972 (preferred year) Mach 1 sprint. I joined this forum to have a place to ask questions and get advice when i do make a purchase!New
SSig_welcome4 you found the best place for information. Good luck on the 72 Sprint. While I don't believe a Sprint is actually a Mach1. We're into all things cool and Mustang as well as Mach1's. We'll help all we can just ask. Lots of good people and lots of knowledge. Once again Welcome. JTS 71 Mach1
Hey Mathew welcome to the site! To me its a great feeling to know your generation is still interested in the classic cars. Good luck on your search and let us know if you have any questions about any car you may be considering purchasing. Lots of great knowledgeable people here.

Hello Mathew, welcome to the site. I also think it is great another member of the younger generation appreciates the older muscle cars. Did someone in your family use to own a 71/73 Mustang?

The special edition 1972 Sprints are nice Mustangs, even though the Fastbacks are not considered a Mach 1, they do have a lot of the options and appeal of a Mach 1.

Here is a link you may want to check out about the sprints:

Keep us posted about your search and feel free to ask any questions, no such thing as a dumb question on this site.
