SORRY ABOUT POOR QUALITY I HAVE A CRAP PHONE AND DID THESE WITH MY IPOD ONCE I GET MORE TIME I WILL DO SOME OUTSIDE THE SHOP Biggrin
Very nice - I can see why we are happy.

It looks like in a few more steps we will be really happy!
Hey Black Jade...The car came out real nice and the paint looks like it laid down very nicely. $4000 is not a bad price for bodywork and paint. I am sure you and your wife are really excited to have the car back.Clap_ I would love to see a before and after shot of the car. I don't remember seeing the before (multi-colored) pictures. Excellent choice of tires and rims, too!

Pretty Pretty Pretty Now if they could always look that good! JTS 71 Mach1

Black Jade...now I remember your car. Thanks for re-posting the link. And as an FYI, I no longer have the 69 Mach 1 shown in the post. I ended up selling it because I realized I was getting overwhelmed with 2 projects looking at me....Superman I am not!! Hopefully, this doesn't effect my membership here. I am a huge fan of ALL Mustangs, old new, rusty, and broken and inspired by the cars and work done on them by the members of this Club!!

Mike you're probably okay unless Joe hears about what you sold it for. Biggrin
COULD YOU HAVE PUT THAT ONE OFF TO THE SIDE, MIKE? WE ALL HAVE THOSE CARS WE GOT RID OF AND THEN LATER SAID "WISH I HAD THAT ONE BACK". THAT GOLD 55 OTHER BRAND IN THE BACK GROUND IS ONE MY DAD WAS WORKING ON WHEN HE PASSED. HE LEFT IT TO ONE OF MY DAUGHTERS AND SHE IS ON MY BUTT TO FINISH IT. SO EVERYTHING IN THE SHOP IS SORTED BY MUSTANG AND OTHER BRAND. LUCKILY SHE IS ONLY 14 SO I HAVE A LITTLE TIME TO GET IT DONE. ALONG WITH FINISHING MY BASEMENT HAVE THE OLDER DAUGHTER GRADUATE THIS YEAR AND HELPING MY SON'S BASEBALL TEAM Crazy BUT THATS LIFE AND THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE IS NOT LOSING MY PARENTS TO CANCER SO EARLY Angry

Black Jade, I am sorry to hear the news about your parents. I could only imagine how difficult that was for you. My wife is a now 5 year survivor of breast cancer and boy did that take us by surprise when we learned she had it. She is actually a team leader tomorrow in a Relay for Life event so are thoughts will be with you and your family.

Unfortunately, I do not have a garage or space to store a car at my house. I rent a garage which is really inconvenient to say the least. Yes, I do regret selling the car but there are a lot more out there (and maybe some that need less work) when the time is right. I am a very organized person (must have been the military that made me this way) so I really enjoy having the extra bay to spread out. Second, was the money factor. I really felt I was not being fair to my wife dumping money into two cars. So the 66 fastback will be it, at least for the near future.

Love that color, car looks great
