Just bought her and I noticed the engine was rebuilt- 351 Cleveland 2V with 4 barrel Edelbrock carb. The RAM AIR was taken out. Is this worth restoring back to original? Do not know much about the topic or how complex that would be. Any advice from experienced Mach 1 owners would be much appreciated. Thanks,

Kevin
Well you can get the ram air kits still, i think. I guess you need to determine exactly what your going to do with the car. If you want it all original you'll want it, if your going to resto mod it, then it might not be as important.
Full ram-air kits for 351s are available in excellent repro form from many vendors, but a little pricey (about $800 I think), but that is complete and with air cleaner.

If you are looking for legitimate performance increases, your money will be better spent elsewhere. If you are looking for originality and the "Wow!" factor when you pop the hood at cruise nights and car shows then this is a must-have.

Welcome Kevin,

It looks as though you have been given the perspective and the price - it's up to you to add the passion!

My 73 H-code does not have the Ram Air and I doubt that I add it. At least not till everything else is complete.
Welcome to the site. Looking forward to seeing pictures.
