I am trying to remove the time set device so I can operate on my clock mechanism. is the know screwed on. I do not want to twist it if there is a chance of just breaking it. need it off so I can get the timekeeping portion working again or replace it with one of those new fangled quartz movements. also where are these movements found or procured. any help is appreciated. I am in the process of trying to clone a 1972 base mustang convertible into a mach one! will insert a picture at a later date when I figure out how to do it. never had to enter a url before to insert photos! one more thought. I need to purchase a good pair of shock towers but can't find any. any of you know where they can be found. all I find is ones up to the year model 1969, doubt they would work.

I like what you got going here and will try to stay in contact.

thanks, James AZ

The knob does unscrew but may time it is corroded on.

Shock tower will have to be a used item

Do you need just the towers or frame rails too?
I have a couple of cars I'm parting out with good towers and rails

Where are you located?
Don
