Hello Everyone,
My name is Richard and I am just getting back into Mustangs My first was a 72 Gold Glow Mach1 I called GoldRush hence the username.
Went through four Fox bodies and now getting ready to start a replacement 72 Mach 1 that will be a long term retirement project for my wife and I. Looking forward to sharing and re-learning a lot.
Rich
Welcome to the club. A Mach 1 is a great retirement project. We restored our Mach 1 , had it back on the road in 2008, it's still a work in progress and I retired in 2010. We are enjoying driving it again and going to shows.
Welcome Rich,
Glad you have found our Mach 1 site.
Do you all ready have the Mach 1 to restore or are you currently on the hunt for the right car?
All the best with the project and share with us the day to day results.
Welcome to the club from Virginia !! we are all glad to have you here to share any knowledge you have and maybe get some hints here and there
dont be shy post up some pictures !!
Nice start to a retirement. I'm still young enough(55) to think "Re tire ment" means my Mach1 needs new back tires!
JTS 71 Mach1
Finalized purchase of my new project car, a 73 Mach1 Q-code vin 3F05Q155299 Now waiting on the shippers to get it from Ohio to Florida. Then the fun begins.

Good on you Rick.
Hopefully one out of Florida will not have near the problems that an Ohio car would have.
Keep us posted on how it all goes.
Unfortunately it is coming from Ohio with some of the normal northern problems. Floor pans and trunk have rust as does the lower quarters but nothing that can't be replaced. I look at it as another one saved from the reaper to be enjoyed for many more years.
