I am installing a digital dash in my car and need to identify the following wires from my 69 mach 1

what is the color of the wire for the gas gauge and park brake light?

1969 mach 1
cluster with gauges (not tach)

brake light Red/yellow maybe?

gas gauge?


any help would be appreciated. i have the wiring diagram pages (10-48 & 10-49) but can't tell the color

the wire going from the edge connecter going out to the sending unit is yellow w/white stripe, I had a old edge wiring plug on the bench from a coup and by comparing known wires with diagram came up with it.
As for park light the wiring diag has cougar mixed with mustang, near as I can see it might be red/yellow-- NOT SURE!!!! Someone else might know.
I'm using a old pro wiring diagram by the way.

after several hours of searching the wiring diagrams, and then testing the plug i found the wires I needed.

Yellow / white = fuel

green / white = left turn

blue / white = right turn

red / yellow = brake (ground)

violet = brake powered

green black = high beam

those are what I needed for the Dakota digital setup
