Greeting's all !
On Tue. 8-13-13, I purchased a Black 2003 Mach 1. Finally, we are back to a two car family ! I'd been shopping for a car since late January but it takes a while when your particular also, my "must haves" list (V-8, Manual Trans. & RWD) narrows the field considerably.

The "other" car in the fleet is a 91 Camaro RS w/ 305cid A/T which I purchased from its 4' 8" 83 lb. original owner (my mom) before the Camaro she had a black 1979 Trans-Am.

The most interesting cars on my previously owned list are:
- 91 Mustang GT, 5.0, 5spd., black.
- 69 Plymouth GTX Convertible, built 440cid, factory 4spd. 390 posi, fact. tachometer, disc brakes, upgraded interior w/ hi-back bucket seats, 6 way manual drivers seat.
- 69 Ford XL 429cid 4bbl. C-6 trans. & a 275 standard rear axle, talk about a tire cooker, new to cords in under 800 miles.
- 67 Ford Fairlane XL 390cid c-6.
- 72 Dodge Polara Police package, 440 4bbl., 727 A/T, 160m.p.h. "certified" speedo. You just drive a car I drive a pursuit vehicle !
- 66 Chrysler 300, 2dr hardtop, 383 w/ factory 2x4bbl intake off a Desoto "Adventurer". This 18.5ft. long, 3800lb. "sports car" could run away and hide from 3 series BMW's as well as a surprising variety of sporty vehicles (and their surprised drivers).

Will post some pics of my Mach 1 as soon as I have them ! TCA !
Welcome Thomas,

Glad to have you with us.

Sounds like you have had quite the who's who of cars and you have done your list well with the new purchase. I will be interested to hear your comparison after a few miles of ownership.

Feel free to add pictures of all your other rides as well.

Enjoy the site.
WELCOME FROM IOWA. PLEASE POST PICTURES OF THE NEW RIDE WHEN YOU CAN Smiliegenerator_test6
WELCOME !!! my fellow 03/04 Mach 1 owner !!! glad to have you !!!
if you have questions or need help with anything or have something interesting to share about your MACH 1 please dont hesitate !!!!
Welcome Thomas I love your list of cars especially the 69 XL 429. My Mother had a 71 Thunderbird with the 429 4V ThunderJet option and a C6 with the trailer towing package(mild shift kit). You are 100% correct on the tire fryer!!! It would spin them as long as you held the pedal down! without question. A great car for a 17 year old kid to blast around in. If I could keep from smoking the tires, I could outrun a SS 396 Chevelle and there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it!
