Welcome Bryan,

For a Wisconsin car it looks like a good starting point.

What are your plans?

Jump on in and feel free to tell us more about yourself and your love for the Mach 1. Is this your first Mach 1? How long have you had the dream to have one?

Enjoy the site.
SSig_welcome4 Very good start to a Mach1 lifestyle. Jump in anytime we're all friends here. JTS 71 Mach1
thanks guys! it is my first mach 1 and I got it for a steal...I bought a ford explorer for 1500.00 while my transfer case got fixed on my dodge ram.. after it got fixed I threw it on craigslist and the guy contacted me to even trade because he couldn't get it to run, well I got it home and put a new fuel filter on it and added some gas and took it out for a drive (that was the only problem)

so far my plans are to make it a sleeper car. I just installed a pretty big cam, headers, gilmer pulley set,HD timing chain, edelbrock cam and carb, 2500 stall converter with 3.83 gears and a 125 shot of nitrous, hurst ratchet shifter and a couple other goodies.

for a Wisconsin car there were 2 spots of surface rust but the underbody still has undercoating on it. it only has 56,xxx miles on it

im not sure. I know it doesn't have fold down seats but I thought that was a factory rear deck lid??
So they removed all the rear fold down stuff? All 71-73 Mach 1's and Fastbacks came with the fold down pass thru truck, didnt they?

Wish I could trade a truck for a Mach 1!
Not all 71 -73 fastbacks had fold down rear seats with the pass thru. I have 2 out of 3 in the backyard that don't have the fold down seats. JTS 71 Mach1
