Hi everyone, just stumbled across this web site.I was looking for id on
a car im considering buying. Its a 69,but the data plate is missing from the door. I want to find out if its a 63c body code. Its got most of the
Mach1 stuff, but not all of it. It is an M code car, but i need confirmation.Any way to figure it out? I also own a 69 R code Mach1 Acapolco blue, white upholstry,4 speed thats about 90% restored.I will post picture in a day or two.New
WELCOME AND PLEASE POST PICS. AS FOR NO DOOR CODE MY BEST GUESS WOULD BE GETTING A MARTI REPORT (MARTIAUTO.COM) TO SEE IF IT IS A TRUE MACH. Biggrin
Thanks,I contacted Marti and they are sending the info on the car. Hope I didnt ask a stupid question.I didnt realize a report could be obtained unless you were the owner. Now I need to shoot a few pictures to up load of my blue car.
Yes welcome...I am glad to hear you found what you needed. Please keep us posted on what you learn about the car and if you decide to purchase it. Did the seller advertise it as a Mach 1?

Also, I would love to see the R-code. Does it have the original motor and transmission?
Interesting possibilities...

Hopefully the report will reveal what you want it too.

Welcome and we will look forward to your continued story.
there should be a tag on radiator support also rh side screwed to it by headlight bracket front side. And WELCOME TO THE SITE.

Been looking around web site, wow im in mustang heaven. Just cant get enough!
My blue Mach 1 has 56,000 miles, but like most 428cj 4 speed cars it was rode hard and put up wet!
I started resto in 89 and stopped in 96. Just to busy. Now ive found some inspiration. Engine is orig. standard bore, standard crank. Was able to purchase cj cam from ford dealer in my town back in late 80s. 4speed rebuilt same time. Original 9in is 3:50 open.
I also have:65 fast back A code 4 speed
66 fastback C code automatic
70 sports roof H code now has 428 C6
07 GT 4.6 5 speed
The pictures are great - thanks for sharing.

They help give us all a little bit of encouragement to stay with our current projects and seek others.

Sounds to me that Mustang heaven is just out your door!
Sounds like you have a small Ford dealership going there!! I am a big fan of the 65/66 Mustangs. Please share some pictures of those car as well.
