357 ci Cleveland
Very nice! As we all know the older these get the more money and time they seem to need no matter what stage of the restoration process your in!
Keep up the good work. Looks like you got the important part done.
Do you plan on getting the "correct" grille and bumper? As you know not every 71-73 fastback had the Mach1 options.
Also the chrome tips are not correct around the nose those were for the Grande model. Good luck on the urethane bumper, I found one on ebay when I needed one for 520 and it was blue and havent seen one since, very tough item. The grill will cost about 275 for the correct one.

None the less you have something most people cant just go buy, the best thing about a classic car!
Yes I am going to get the correct grill, that one was new and came with the spare parts when I originally bought the car. I like the chrome bumper on the front, the boss 351's came with a chrome bumper. I will probably paint the trim I haven't decided yet. Also getting the front spoiler.

The engine is actually just temporary, I'm collecting the parts its going to take to build a 408 ci Cleveland, alum. heads, 1050cfm dominator carb, etc.

This car will eventually be a resto-mod style car. So correctness isn't my primary concern.
It is true the Boss came with a chrome bumper. If your resto modding the car then things are wide open! Keep us up to date on what you do to the car, would love to see the finished product.
Nice work ................

I like those wheels.........................:)
The wheels are the original magnum 500's that came with the car. They were actually a little dirty in the pics. Most people think they are brand new wheels until they get very close to them. They were in very good condition.

I am going back to the states in 3 weeks, I will get video of my car at the track and a bunch of pictures.
widowmaker glad your coming home. Keep your head low man things are getting hot again.
