I have a 2003 Mach 1 , 5 speed . I have been looking into hand held tuners for my car . Do they really do anything and can anyone recommend one . My next purchase is a cold air intake . I was looking at the K&N for my car but do all brands give roughly the same HP and Torque increases ? I guess what I would really like is if anyone can recommend which Tuner and cai provide the best bang for the buck. Thanks

Like Steven said I had great results. I got a Diablosport "Predator" Tuner. I had researched several of the major brands and there reviews. Everything I read about the Diablosport Tuner rang true. I read the manual cover to cover a couple of times before I even touched my car. One thing that is very important is to be sure and turn the key on or off as directed! If you turn it off at the wrong time you can wipe out the programming and render your cars computer "Braindead". But that was the only thing I could see as a problem,(read the instructions!) as everything else was easy. And the results were Imediate and Dramatic. If you read the post Steven listed. It describes better how things went. Best $100.00 I ever spent on a car hands down
