Having just pulled everything in front of the radiator core support to blast and repaint in the never ending battle against rust I noticed that there's several threaded holes along the bottom of the core support and then looking at the valance I also see a line of holes suggesting that between the core support and valance there must have once been a bracket to support the center of the valance panel.

I've been trying to hunt down this bracket but haven't found it or even seen a photo of what should be there. Anyone know where I could lay hands on one?

Plan B is to fab something up. If someone could post a photo or two of this dude on their car I'd be eternally grateful.

Here are a couple of photo's of the bracket for a 72. Be mindfull that the 71's has two brackets.
