PrayI've got a 1972 Mach 1 with no spare tire. I've got a regular rim that I could have a tire mounted on. I've also got an inflatable mini spare that I would love to use. The mini spare rim is good buy the tire is questionable. The unit sat outside for many years. The rim isn't rusty. My question is does anyone reproduce the tire for inflatable spares. I also have a portable air tank that is similar, but not correct. It would at least be functional until I found a correct none.
I value any input or opinions.
Thanks Keith

No help here, not sure about repo tires.

I bought a spare 73 Aluminum Wheel that I'm thinking about mounting a spare on, probably not factory correct but would look cool in the trunk.
No help from me either.

The question is exactly what will fit in the fastback design. I have not gotten far enough along to answer that question.

If your car has the fold down rear seat, it would have the inflatable spare. It also could be ordered as a separate option.
If you have a square bracket on the RH side of the trunk by the wheel well, it is for the inflatable spare and canister.

No one makes a repro inflatable spare - original ones are 250.00 - 350.00 and keep in mind they are 40 year old tires.
Good for shows but I wouldn't recommend using one.

You could get the late model mustang mini spare tire, use it for cruising and the inflatable one for shows

Ohiomustang I think is on the right track. My car does have the fold down seat and trunk bracket you described. I wonder if I could find a very small 14" tire new and mount it on a spare rim. I think I'll look into it.
thanks, Keith
