I have a 1971 mach 1.. its in ok shape... but dose need love..
I was wondering if anyone knows sites to look for parts..

ALSO
Im thinking about putting a supercharged 8 Cylinder, 4.6 L svt motor in it...what do you think? It has a 315 c.. in it now.. but it needs rebuilt. not much horsepower.. i like stock.. but i think i want to go with a crazy upgrade.. im getting ready to strip the car down. ive found rust on the frame and in the inner finders. im having a hard time finding inner finders. ive got a guy going to do the frame and floor pans.i need to find more parts... any help
Welcome to the Club. Nice pic of your Mach.

I bought most of my parts from CJ Pony Parts online. Although Ohio Mustang and Year One have a good selection too.

Good Luck.
Thanks ill look into it
+1 for Ohio Mustang and Year One. BTW your Mach looks pretty sweet to me!
thanks.. yea she is in good shape body wise.. its just their was some hidden rust in the frame and some one did a poor job on the floor pans.. the inteiror needs love old and can see the age.. ive looked at some other hotrod mach 1's.. and have got ideas.
Your Mach looks pretty good, would be sweet if you could squeeze a 4.6 Cobra motor into it. Would be alot of work getting the bugs out of it but in the end I think you would be VERY VERY happy. Ive delt with CJ Pony & Virgina Mustang in the Past......they have a good selection of parts
yea its going to be alot of work to get it right.. but if i can do it and get it right.. woooohooo i got a crashed 2001 supercharged 4.6 L svt. the fun part is the computer stuff.. ill start pics when i start on the car.. im told that im stupid to take the 351 cl motor out.. but owell i still might keep it.. if i cant get the 4.6 in the mach 1.. then i would just put it in my 2002 mustang
If your Mach does not have any special collector value then make it your own. If you do it right the new engine would be really sweet, for me though gotta keep what it came with from the factory.
special collector value? lol im sure as well as me you know what these cars are worth.. i think im going to build the 351 cl and keep it.. but yea im going to have fun with it.. thats what ive done with all the old classics ive built..
Don't let current value of the 71-73 fool you. They are definitely on the rise. Id say give it another 5 years and these will be more valuable. Notice newer items being released for reproduction as a good indicator of the interest in these cars.

Personally when I drive mine down the street and peoples teeth fall out, and I spend 15 minutes talking to people that have gathered around mine in a convenience store I like the odds of this car going up in value. With less than 100,000 Mach 1's being produced during 71-73 I believe we have something that will definitely increase in value. If not, the drool is still fun to clean off my car! Drool1 Mine wont be going anywhere for the next 30 years anyway.
