I've gotten a lot done since the last time I posted. I also noticed this is now a forum instead of a long thread. Nice!
Since I can't remember exactly what I posted last, here's a quick run-down with some pics. This time last year (May or so), I sawz-all'd the front end off my '71, 'blasted & repaired a 'new' front clip from a low-rust junkyard '72 FB and welded it on. Then installed a complete Super Suspension Kit from Laurel Mountain Mustang. Replaced the floor pans around Labor Day. Received the original 351C-2V back from the machine shop shortly afterward, and began the rebuild process around Thanksgiving. Learned that the Auto Hobby Shop might be closing, so I had to kick it all into high gear, and have been going every weekend since Christmas. Since then, I've rebuilt the cowl damage, completely rebuilt the trunk and tailight area, replaced the quarter panels, rebuilt the rear brakes/e-brake, and installed the engine and AOD transmission. Last weekend, I installed the headers and modified the original FMX transmission mount to accept the AOD, since the aftermarket 'adapter' bracket was in the way of the headers.
Here's some quick pics:
The 2.5" Pypes stainless exhaust goes on this weekend.
