I asked him if he was waiting for us and he said "No", and he was very impressed with the Mach's road holding ability.
Oh and Yes I know that road very well, been riding it since the 80's on motorcycles, cars, GoKarts and even a Gravity bike once
Great road and a lot of fun. Your Mach1 sounded really good, and both of you were doing quite a good job. I grew up riding 900/1000 Kaw's. They weren't the fastest thing around a corner but not much could catch them on the straight. I remember the first crotch rocket I rode, it was a FZR (I think) 600 Yamaha. It was a very amazing motorcycle. At that point I had a 77" 550 honda with road race tires on it and thought it was good till I rode that 600 Yammie. That was the mid 80's. Now I have a son with a 04" 600 Ninja. Stock for stock it's faster then the 900/1000 Kaw's by a long shot and it's so far above the early crotch rockets it's silly. I told my son I love to ride his bike but I don't want one cause if I had one I 'd keep it on the ragged edge all the time, and I don't heal as well at 53 as I did when I was 18!
