Has anyone installed the new halogen H4 Head lamps in the 69 mach yet ?
If so how do you like them ? and who's system did you use ?
I currently use NAPA halogens , not the real bright one but sealed beam units off the shelf. They are a bit better than the old style sealed beams but not much.

I am looking at the reenmachine set up for $279.00 and believe it's far price but want more input if I can get it.
I've been using the Halogen Sealed Beams since the late 70's. It would be interesting to see if someone has converted.
The scary thought is, we used to drive these things at night,at very high speeds, without halogens, and with puny 35 amp alternators. Compared with todays halogens, projector beams, and HID. Not to mention 100 plus amp alternators. It's a miracle we could make it around the block safely! JTS 71 Mach1
I fitted NAVA headlamp units to the '70. A separate QH globe type unit,
60/55 watt. Much better than the standard for 1970!
I don't use big wattage globes as the wires, connectors and reflector units are not designed for it.
Watts = heat. The excess heat will shorten globe life and has the potential to damage surrounding components. The +50/+80 globes are plenty bright enough if adjusted correctly IMO.
