Just a thought on adding a category regardless of year on original, unrestored, or unmodified survivor cars. If folks post to this category they could be encouraged to include photos of the vehicle for others to use as a benchmark in their restoration. I understand not everyone is interested in concourse restoration and respect what each person brings to the table. If you have an original survivor show it off for the benefit of the mustang community. It may allows those seeking originality to reach out and obtain missing information on their year.
Good idea!
Added.
Good Idea!

So anyone have one to add? I am looking forward to seeing this category grow!

Hey Steven, there is a site for that already, it is called ebay.
I see survivor cars on there all the time.
example of ads I always see...

73 convertible
54,000 mile survivor
Ready to get in and cruise, new motor, newer paint, new interior, true survivor

Hey, I wasn't even around for the day.Biggrin

I had to make a trip to Tucson to pick up a packeage from Ohio Mustang Supply!
I agree we have some great members here.
I am just joking around here, no offence to anyone.
I do not see any problem here.
Most of those ads are dealers or flippers.
It just cracks me up when I see the " all original, survivor ads "
Then it goes on to describe new motor, new this, new that.

A true survivor is probably near impossible. Unless you bought it straight off the showroom floor and drove it straight to a storage facility (climate controlled). I mean who over the course of a cars life, even if it wasn't driven a lot. Didn't replace say a headlight, the points & condensor, a coil, a switch, a door handle, the tires, belts & hoses, a piece of chrome, a tail light lense, a bumper guard. ect. I realize this is nit picking, but I'm just trying to show how many little things get changed through a cars life that no one ever thinks about, and there are countless others. I guess it all comes down to your definition of the word Suvivor??? SCo_hmmthink JTS 71 Mach1
