Most racers think of the panhard bar simply as a lateral locating device. Here is the rest of the story! NOTE: This article refers to panhard bars mounted to the rear suspension. You can apply this information to panhard bars mounted to a front axle, however, the handling effects will be opposite to those described in this article.
