For 2007 and 2008, there was also the Shelby GT, which was the same as the 2006 GT-H, without the Hertz connection, i.e., you weren't buying a used rental car. Here's my '07 SGT.

Nice SGT, I like the color.

Thanks. I was actually looking for an economy car to use as a daily driver and the dealer made me such a deal I couldn't pass it up. So I now have an '07 Shelby as a daily driver for going to work. Eusa_dance

Nice daily driver! Don't those Shelby GT's have the 4.6?
Its what my 2010 has. Definitely a decent motor. You can supercharge them and put out nearly 500hp safely without the motor coming apart.
Yes, it's a 4.6 and I've definitely considered supercharging, but have to be a little more conservative. Mine is one of the few with an automatic and I've heard the auto's aren't strong enough to handle over 450hp. I actually called Rousch when they had the closeout sale on their polished superchargers (even though many would consider that sacrilege) but was too late. They were already sold out. Now I'm waiting to see what happens with work. I'd hate to drop $5-6K on a supercharger and then find out I get to enjoy an extended vacation.
