Great pic's Doug :) Love the interior shot with the RHD. Not sure what to say about the rocket picture hahaha
Doug,

I enjoyed looking at your RHD Mach 1. Since this post's last entry was back in November 2009 anything new happening? How have the last few years driving her been? Got any mates over on that side of the pond that are into the same type of car scene? Give us a post and let us know how things are going - looking forward to more pictures. Enjoy the miles of smiles!

hi guy /girls
had a few problems with a new ram air hood i ordered delivered with
no dents great but it doesnt fit adjusted it every way but the near
side about the middle is about 1inch above the wing sorry fender
level at the back and front looks like it need a steam roller over it
any one had this problem, i think i will have to cut the front of the new hood
and weld to the old one ,

had new second hand doors fitted from dry state us
all ok

i was try to do the route 66 run in a mustang but was having a problem
no one would garantee the hire a mustang could get a crysler 300 diesel not the same, one hire co would but you couldn't take the car
out of california,
i didn't want to spend £3,500 to do this and not get a mustang
do many use the old mustangs as regular daily drivers

get some more pic on soon

Doug,

Good to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the worries with your hood, umh - bonnet. Glad the purchased doors did not give you the same problems. I will be looking forward to the pictures.

There are quite a few faithful that drive their Mustangs as everyday rides. On a day to day basis here in the southwest it would not be unusual to see a couple of older Mustangs. Mostly they will be the small coupes. I would have to say that it would be rare to see a Mach 1 or other fastback. On Friday and Saturday you can catch some out for a run or on their way to a local show.

Wow, a Route 66 run! I am surprised that you could not get a guarenteed Mustang rental. I do not know of anyone that rents classic cars but surely there is someone out there that does that - if one could pay the price. Years ago in Las Vegas there was a company that rented the high end cars. They may do Mustangs or even a Shelby Mustang. If you like bikes you could always rent a Harley. Let us know if you do come this way.

Looking forward to the pictures.
