My 77 f250 Had 1 of these too.So off to u pull it we go to get 1.
I bought a stock original intermittent switch assembly for my 73 Convertible, but decided not to change it over. So far I have avoided driving the car in the rain since it's repaint in March 2010! I need to dig the switch out of a box and list it up for sale.

That would be my choice as well. I never drive my cars in the rain if I can help it, well my Navigator is the work horse so that one goes in the rain, but all of my other cars stay out. I'm totally weird like that. But to me its so hard to get a car really clean after its been driven in the rain.

There are guys in my Mustang club that don't care where or when they drive there stangs, snow, rain, dirt roads. I don't know how they do it, and there cars still look good at shows.

My wife laughs at me for being paranoid about driving the 73 in the rain, but I don't want all that road grime splashing up into the fender wells and door jambs. I was coming home from a car show last year and it clouded up real bad, and about a mile from home we got a very fine sprinkle, but the road was still dry and the car just had a few drops on it! Cry

I try to keep the 04 Mach 1 out of bad weather, but it goes out on some occasions. I do get pretty annal keeping it detailed, especially when the engine compartment gets road spray in it!
