Hey man, first of all thanks for putting this site up and monitoring/moderating it. I know it must be a lot of work. I think it is truly a great place for like minded Mustang owners to gather. Since I am a newb here I just thought some outside perspective might be good. I am a member on another forum that is dedicated to home audio recording. It is a very successful site. Hundreds of posts a day from all over the world. I think the key reason for this is that there are only 6 "sub" forums. When there aren't as many places for people to go, everyone gets funneled into a couple of main forums which leads to very organic conversations. I think I counted over 50 sub forums here which kind of compartmentalizes the experience.
The best way I can think of it is if you went to a party and there were a bunch of rooms with only 2-3 people in them as opposed to a room with 300 people, you would want to go to the room with 300 people. I think you would get much more traction.

Anyway bro, just a thought. Thanks !
I appreciate the feedback!

However Mach1Club is not intended to be a huge member site. My goal is not to have millions of users. I want quality of members not quantity.

I have downsized the topics a lot from when this site first started. The problem with only having a site that is a message board is that making changes is not that easy. Even upgrading a message board with newer version releases is a PITA. If I was a website building genius there are lots of things I would do differently, but my ability is limited and paying a designer isn't realistic.

I'm totally open to change.

I appreciate your interest in the site and I hope you would continue to contribute here. Its the members that make the best part of this site.

I have to admit though that I'm very thrilled with the progress of this site to this point.

Hey, it's all Greek to me so I will stick to my favorite language - Mach 1
I rarely look at the individual forums. I just click on "new posts" or use the search too if I looking for something specific. But I agree that sometimes "less" is better.
