I guess the solution to the panhandlers problem is to laugh in their face and tell them to " get a f------ job and earn your money" "and don't be so G-- ---n lazy! Maybe you could shame them into working for a living- but then again, maybe not.

This just shows part of why our world is so messed up, there are to many lames out there that want to figure out how not to work and then claim how unfair life is.
Ive sort of known this for awhile. If I feel inspired to give I give to the salvation army, or in a rare case I find a homeless person needing something I will only buy them food, I never give them cash. Ive been burned before. There have been times Ive offered to buy a guy a sandwich and they have declined because they preferred the money. That to me is a first sign of a scam.

As stated in the story: "what abour our moral obligation?" When a person denies his moral obligation to life then he can do whatever and still be right - in his own eys. What a pity.
