Thought maybe someone on here is a Cleveland expert and can answer this question. Probably has a simple answer but I can't find in anywhere Sad

My '70 Mach uses a D0AE-6090-G, M, N or R Closed Camber Cylinder head.

I know the D0AE is under the Exhaust Manifold on the bottom of the head, and the date code is under the valve cover but my question is where is the 6090 and the Letters (G, M, N, or R)

Thanks in advance
:)
The 6090 is the basic part # and i don't believe it any where on the head. I could be wrong but don't think so. The prefix at the end I'm not sure about but I found a classic mustang site it may be helpful. http://www.classicmustang.com/decoding_p...e_purposes Hope it helps JTS 71 Mach1

Added the link for you Lloyd. Good job.
The D0AE and the suffix is cast on the bottom of one of the cylinder head intake runners. The basic number doesn't appear.
