Is there anything on the chrome trim around the woodgrain? Also the Chrome trim around the instrument bezel. Mine are all yellow, no more chrome. What are the best options for restoring it or painting on new Chrome trim? I have researched the liquid chrome pens but has anyone had any experience with them?
Hey Shaker, I wish I knew as I've several times looked for a chrome solution for plastic. I mean they chrome plastic for model kits, for cripe sakes. It's got to be doable. But damned if I've ever found anything that works. Good Luck

I need to do the console top as well.  This shop may be of help http://www.tachman.com/fordwood.htm
Have used him before for dash rechrome, new woodgrain, and instrument refurb.  Looks great.  Agree w JTS71 DIY solutions that I have seen don't look/stay good.
