I am a year out from doing an engine build and questions I have are:
1) Planning on using a 94 to 98 351W to make a 408W, which will pull (I hope) 450 HP and Torque and be totally street drivable. Do you think this is possible?
2) I believe these are roller engines, because I want a roller valve train. Does any one know if they are rollers"
3) I believe these engines used EFI and can I use the wire harness and ECU in my 69 Mach?
4) Does any one know the efficiency rating of a G-Force T-5 and a TKO 600 transmissions?

Planning on 98% street driving with a little auto cross racing (Parking lots).

Thanks,

Jerry

1969 Mach 1 with a 351C, toploader transmisson and a 4.11 (9') rearend.
They are a roller engine and depending on your electrical ability the harness can be used. You will have to utilize an electric fuel pump.for the fuel injection. As for the rest Im unsure.Hope someone else will chime in.Welcome2
Yes they are roller engines. I would highly recomend when you arre ready to get ahold of Cam Research in Englewood, Co. They ARE the ford cam gurus! They will custom grind a roller cam for your application. In just about every cam compared to them , Their cams made more horsepower. You can go with comp or lunati or crower , BUT the owner himself races fords and they only do ford cams ! Best place I have ever used for camshafts guarenteed. I just built a 351 cleveland stroked to 408 CID solid roller cam motor for street & strip that makes real close to 700 horse give or take ! She screams ! Good luck and if I can help anymore just give me a shout.
