Mach 1 Club

Restoring a 71 Mach that the Marti report says had (5W) White Clarion Knit/Corinthian Vinyl Bucket seats. The car does have the sports interior group. Does anyone know were the seats black with a white insert or were they mainly white? The current seat is black with white inserts. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the link. I was hoping to turn the car back to original but after finding out the ext. color and interior color I don't think that is going to happen. The ext. was grabber green which I could have dealt with but I can't do the white interior, it just doesn't work for me. What are the thoughts of the other members about changing the colors from original? When we bought the car the guy had previously bought new interior for it that is black seats so I would probably just stick with them.

heres my thought I am changing mine to white cause I dont have a/c and want the cooler color interior.

Unless your going concurs restoration I would go with what you like. I personnaly would take the white over the green, but I prefer the looks of black interiors. Heat can be a factor with black, but I still like it.

Here is my 73 Convertible which has the original Comfort Weave seats which helps on the hot days:

nice interior RP Love the pics.I like black as well but I plan on driving my car alot and my wife wants white too so to keep the peace and being able to spend on it what I need to she has a say on seat color.I agree with you make it the way you want it.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I understand what you are saying about white being cooler in the summer. I just personally don't like white so I will probably go with the black int. and red ext.
