Hey all.

The trim strip broke off the front of my hood so I bought a new one. Problem is it came with some fasteners that look to be self-threading but the hole in the fasteners is a lot bigger than the prongs on the trim. Am I just not understanding the way to use these fasteners or are they the wrong size?

The crown nuts should be self threading. If not get down to NAPA or red rooster they have decent replacement nuts that will do the job.

Yeah the nuts are self threading but the problem I am facing is that the prongs on the trim (to which I would fasten the nuts) are abot 1/8" but the hole on the nuts are about 1/4". Guess I'll have to go to the shop....
