The 1972 rare H.O code engine was only rated, I believe, 10 more horsepower, and even less torque, than the "Q" code...any thoughts on why it's so highly praised, other than it's "rare" in build numbers?

Also, with the way Horsepower was rated in 72' compared to 71', from the factory, due to the goverment EPA, anyone know the true figures on HP and Torque for the 72' Q code??? or what it would have been rated in 71' ?
