This spring I finally convinced my Neighbor to put back together his 1970 Chevelle SS 396. He purchased it from California when he was 16yrs old. It was basically torn apart 23 yrs ago so it was time to put it back together. When we started in the spring it was moreless a body sitting on a rolling chassis. 6-7 months later it made it to its first cruise night. Here is a link to the process

I had a 69 Chevelle 100 years ago.
WOW what a nice build I dont care what they are as long as they are old.I just got home helping the secretary get her 1951 chevy pick up running all original and been in her family since new.

My Mach is lacking Sad Doubt my Mach will ever be to the level it is. Pretty hard to compare a fresh car to one thats been driven 30,000 miles. Although now I REALLY wanna re-detail under the hood of my Mach to 100% factory look, trying togather parts for the project.

Nope....learned ALOT about Chevelles though. He says I can drag his to a car show anytime I wanna so no need to own one :)
