It's not often that a fan club for a car gets a special edition of its beloved wheels created in its honor. But then again, lots of automakers would kill to have a group of loyalists like those in the Mustang Club of America.

More than 11,000 members put on Mustang appreciation events around the year. Ford is careful to use them as a sounding board when they make changes to their favorite car.
Some of the changes went into the 2011 Mustang, due in showrooms in about a month. Chris drove and wrote about 2011 for USA TODAY. Click here for his story.

But for 2011, Ford also created the MCA edition of the car, just for the Mustang Club. The option package is available on the six-cylinder version, and the cars are instantly recognizable with" the "hockey stick" stripe along the side and the chrome stripes on the grille, with the logo to the side, instead of the big chrome pony in the middle. There are also fog lamps, automatic headlights, a spoiler and unique floor mats.

The price for the package $995, brings the total sticker for the car to $27,690.
